In this tutorial you would learn :
How to use colors to pour emotions to your render.
How to create realistic results even without using any image texture.
How to easily add procedural cracks.

Good day guys, it has been long I had posted a tutorial. So I decided to make one about procedural materials with some insights into my latest artwork. So here we go :)
Feel free to put the ideas in any scene of your choice and post it in the comments section or email me at sayan.mondal.blender@gmail.com.
Why only cubes and spheres?
What I discovered last month was emotion and gestures can not only be expressed through human face but also by simple shapes ( in fact, simple shapes makes the emotions much stronger ).
It was also an exercise on colors and composition as well. I also implemented color harmony and the golden ratio in this scene.
Inspiration
It all started with a material request on Google+. After I completed making the material I got tempted to use it in a scene and finally something evolved out of it which looks like the artwork.
Post Processing
The post processing...maybe it's the heaviest of editing that I have done in my life. There were lots of minor adjustments in GIMP and Blender but here's pretty much a preview:
